As I write this reflection (or letter), I sincerely feel that God is telling me to “slow down.”

During my childhood years, I loved singing.

When you have children growing up at home, you are bound to know or listen to some children’s songs.

Do you consider yourself an “understanding” person?

Are you a listener? A listener without prejudice or bias?

If I may, I would like to ask: what is your definition of vulnerability?

I was told that no one would want to know or hear my story. My narrative or story seemed insignificant to others.

There were times when promises were not kept. There were instances when we consciously broke our promises due to ‘many reasons.’

Our Christian walk is likened to a long-haul journey. It is a marathon, not a sprint.

Jesus’ warning in this parable clearly applies to us as well. In the parable, clearly the owner of the vineyard is God. The keeper of the vineyard is Jesus, the trees in the vineyard represent you and I.
