ROLC Covid-19 Advisory 25 March 2020
Dear People of God,
ROLC church services on Sunday will continue to be suspended temporarily till further notice from the government.
DG groups are encouraged to meet regularly with precautionary measures taken like social distancing of 1 metre apart and keeping the group size of not more than 10 members. Wash or sanitizer your hands upon entering the home. DG members who are unwell should not meet up in the physical meetings. You can participate DG meetings virtually.
For DG groups who are using ROLC church as a meeting place, the church would really appreciate the group to clean any surface that come into contact after the meeting. Pail, rags and Dettol are placed in the Olive room toilet. Your effort to keep the place clean and sanitised is much appreciated.
Our leaders are in the process of preparing livestreaming and online services. Do uphold them in your prayers for God’s guidance and strength.

Temporary suspension of services on 22, 29 March 2020
Dear Brothers and Sisters of ROLC,
We are strongly encouraged by your faithfulness and commitment to come every Sunday and attend DG meetings despite Covid-19. Thank God that we were able to continue to meet on Sunday service in past months. However, we are aware of the increasing numbers of covid-19 in the world and Singapore itself with Friday 20 March numbers reached 385 where more are imported cases. In the coming two weeks, many are returning back to Singapore from overseas after a Singapore recall order and stricter restriction measures have been implemented by our authorities to prevent the spread of covid-19. Churches had also met with MCCY and many are closing their services especially for this coming two Sundays.
After discussion among our elders, we decided it is our responsibility to protect our members and also prevent any risk of covid-19 during these crucial two weeks and therefore we will suspend services on 22 and 29 March. We plan to resume on Palm Sunday, 5th April which will also be our AGM.
We want to encourage you not to lose heart but stir up your faith deeper trusting the Lord is God (Sovereign and in control) and He is good (His provision, protection and care) – Psalms 100. Let’s prepare our hearts to join in one spirit on these two Sundays 10am with a personal, family or small group service time at your home. We will prepare a video recorded short sermon on church website and also disseminate the link through DG chats for the next two Sundays for you to feed on God word.
You are strongly encouraged to continue meeting in your Discipleship Groups to encourage one another, worship, pray and study God’s words together.
Be still for His presence is with you!
Shalom
SP David Lim Chin Ann
