Israel has fought many wars and won but there is one war that is coming that will be too great for Israel. Zechariah prophesies that “on that day…all the nations of the earth are gathered against her.” (Zechariah 12:3). Israel will then call upon the Messiah, “the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son”(10. “Then the Lord will come, and all the holy ones with him” (Zech 14:5). “On that day, his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west” (4) and He “will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem” (v9) and there will be weeping …in the plain of Megiddo.” Hallelujah, His Name will be great among the nations!
